I’ll be the first to admit that loving the skin you are in is a long, hard process for a lot of us.
Learning to honor your body through it all is finally realizing that happiness is no longer measurable on a scale.
As we are in the new year, I say reclaim your health by deepening your relationship with your body instead of bullying yourself into submission.
1. Take the time to understand why you behave the way you do.
2. Start making consistent small changes to improve your relationship with your body.
I promise, THIS is the stuff that leads to long term sustainable health.
View improving your health as a relationship issue; not a what my body looks like issue.
What is the relationship you have with your body?
I hope you stay aware of what’s playing in your head on repeat.
How do you speak to yourself on the regular, ESPECIALLY during the times when you mess up.
Pay attention .
Establish firm boundaries.
Enforce those boundaries.
Say no to the things that don’t honor your health so that you have time for the things that contribute to your health.
Give yourself permission to BE MORE and DO LESS.
