are you asking for change?

I meet many people who have a lot of great ideas. These people talk about many plans and goals. I speak with potential clients wanting to lose weight, get into a routine, find time for exercise, eat better, manage their finances better… 

And yet, what follows is more asking for this, wanting for that. And that’s fine of course; but, just so you know that all of your asking and wanting in the world won’t make any of it come to fruition. 

You need to take ACTION! 

You need to put EFFORT behind those words.

You need to hammer it out, day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year.

You don’t get what you want by taking short cuts. You don’t get what you ask for without doing any of the work. 

There’s no quick road to achievement. 

There’s no detour to your goals.

It’s the journey that will enrich you.

It’s the experience of the struggle that develops you.

It’s the grind that determines your later success.

There’s no real value of the thing when you are suddenly given it with no effort on your part. The process, struggles, wins, and losses are what develop your confidence and grit.

It’s messy, painful, uncomfortable and hard; but that is what shapes you, strengthens you and makes you the person you are destined to be. 💋
