the top 3 excuses I hear from clients

As a female personal trainer in Honolulu, Hawaii, I’ve worked with thousands of women around the globe (thank you virtual platforms)!

And with my over 20 years experience, I hear so many different reasons why clients may not be able to exercise or eat how they plan. And unfortunately, there is no magical solution for this except, to talk out those reasons and determine work arounds. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE HIRE ME! I am a personal trainer, an accountability coach, sometimes a life coach and sounding board and this is my specialty – my unique 3M method helps clients navigate not only the exercise stuff they deal with, but with their mind stuff and food stuff too! Hey, what can I say, I’m FULL SERVICE 😉

Now on to the juicy stuff! Here are the top excuses I hear from clients as we navigate a persons 3M Lifestyle – their Mindfulness, their Movement and their Moderation.

EXCUSE #1: I’m too tired to exercise.

Lee-Ann’s 3M Solution: Lee-Ann will send you a text message checking in with you during your movement days which provides a “workout buddy” in your back pocket to hold you accountable!

EXCUSE #2: I don’t have time. Or I am a full time parent. 

Lee-Ann’s 3M Solution: Instead of trying to find time to work out, think about how you can make time. Some activity is better than none. Lee-Ann will work with you to determine pockets of time to add mindful movement into your every day. For example, perhaps you have 15 minutes between kids eating and napping. I have a a #Fitin15 all body weight workout program that my busy clients use all the time to keep them moving more often than not!

EXCUSE #3: I need to be motivated to exercise.  

Lee-Ann’s 3M Solution: Using the Mindfulness module of my 3M Method, we get deep together to determine your WHY – your why for wanting to do the thing. It may be losing weight. It may be getting healthy. It may be keeping up with your kids. I will help you determine your TRUE “why” which is the foundation of being motivated to do the thing and to continue to do the thing even when you don’t feel like it. I get it – it’s hard to be motivated to move and eat well when no one is doing it with you. As your coach, I am there for you. I am your “workout buddy” to give you an extra incentive to keep keeping on. Also, isn’t it easier to make an excuse to not exercise when no one holds you accountable?
