doing little things create big things

When I spoke with my coach @janellefitmarks about my goals this year, my first goal was to get a strict pull up by 12.31.21

I just thought of all those failed PE class pull up attempts when girls out ran me, out pull up’d me or out hanged me and hit more sit ups than me. Every year. I just kept telling myself, “your body is bigger than the other girls. You are just not athletic like them.”

“How bad ass would it be if I, at 44 years strong 💪🏾 could do it, with this body, my body that has always looked different and functioned different than most? I sucked up my fear and manifested that shit OUT LOUD!

I’ve been working since June 2021 on my goal with my @thewonderwomenofficial team including my fellow guts gal @penning.this.story under my Coach Janelle’s direction. And I’ve been doing all of these things in the post above.

I have dedicated time and effort in building my strength just so I could clear my chin over that bar.

In my lifestyle transformation journey, I know I’m attaining the obvious:
👍🏾getting leaner
🙋🏽‍♀️definitely getting stronger, so one random day I decided to give a unassisted chin-up a try. AND LOW AND BEHOLD, I did it! Way ahead of my goal. 🎉 🎈 🎊

Each week, I help my clients to celebrate their non-scale victories just like this!

As I’ve been working on my chin up, now my DM’s are like “What can I do to get my first chin-up?”

Here’s what I did. I did it every week no fail, no miss since June 20, 2021 which is about 12 weeks.

My best tip 🔥🔥🔥whatever your goal, STICK WITH IT. 👉🏾👉🏾Little by little every day. 👉🏾👉🏾Better to start now than never. 👉🏾👉🏾Better to start today instead of tomorrow!
