“I am stuck in a rut. Can’t seem to get motivated to eat healthy and exercise. Ugh. Working from home and tending to my kids 24/7 has me exhausted and frustrated. “
I talk to women every day who tell me “It’s been a struggle. I’m in a slump. I need to be using my free time better. Working from home and tending to kids 24/7 has me frustrated and exhausted. I am getting so lazy and I have to get motivated again. I just don’t know how to begin or where to start. UGH.”
It starts with SMALL Steps; when you are in a rut, tackle it by starting small.
If you are in a rut, the last thing you want to do is step on your own toes with perfectionist tendencies. When you break down a big goal like losing X amount of lbs or going to the gym 5 days per week-into daily smaller tasks-you’ll begin to create positive momentum and then soon, a little trickle of inspiration will come and then that trickle will build up to more trickles and before you know it, you will have laid a strong foundation of healthy sustainable wellness habits.
Just start small. Do what you can, at your own pace. Let yourself make mistakes.
