I’m not the leanest. But I’m not exercising over 3 hours a day eating less than 1,200 calories like I used too.
I’m still tracking my macros. But I’m not obsessing over the minutiae anymore.
Exercise More, Eat Less got me so far. But then it became too much. So now, after a medical life saver (12.7.15) and a medical tragedy (5.7.18) I’m working on being content with what will be will be which includes no longer torturing my body into a size or weight I’ve obsessed over since I realized I was the overweight kid in 1st grade.
Here’s the biggest Myth of all: THAT IF WE FORCE OURSELVES INTO A CALORIE DEFICIT, WE WILL BURN FAT.
The REAL DEAL? 👉🏾 weight regulation is so much more than the quantity of calories we take in or exercise off!
HINT: think HORMONES NOT calories.
By eating more of higher quality foods and doing less but smarter exercise, you can make your brain, gut and hormones stay in a nice steady balance without the struggle. The real work comes in between – settling into the uncomfortable new way of doing this thing we call body fat loss.
