45 million people in the US are on a diet. In today’s training, I discuss yo-yo dieting and my personal experience with that very nasty cycle.

45 million people in the US are on a diet. Yo-yo dieting term coined by Kelly D. Brownell at Yale University, in reference to the cyclical loss and gain of weight, resembling the up-down motion of a yo-yo.

Client always tells me: I want to lose this in this amount of time and clients always ask me what’s the best diet and workout to do this?

And my reply is always the same: you can do this quick and unsustainable like all the fad diets out there which is a short term fix that will result in leaving your body worse off than before (never our option, by the way) or we can do this smart and balanced, a method that will allow you to keep the weight off forever (always by answer).
