In Today’s #instagram live story, I gave my followers 4 easy ways to set their intentions for this week.
I’m sure you’ve heard of this Quote by Benjamin Franklin: “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”
Prepare for success this week by using these 4 steps :
- Create your intentions for this week: Choose 1-3 things you want to get done this week. Get that list, write it down. Put it in your phone; on your fridge; taped to your bathroom or vanity mirror.
- Share your intentions with friends and/or post them on your social media! Sharing is caring and provides a sense of accountability. We never like to let people down, so if we spread the word that we are trying to crush our intentions this week, you will be met with love and support; your very own cheering squad!
- Create rituals around those intentions. All the little steps toward a goal get you to the finish line. If you begin to create behaviors based around your intentions, you’ll more likely to get to it. For instance, if you plan to exercise 2-3 mornings per week, pack your gym bag the night before and set your alarm with a motivational saying like “wake up and crush your workout today!”
- Remind yourself daily. Check in with yourself throughout the day. Remind yourself of YOUR WHY! Why are you doing these things? Why are these things your intentions? How will you feel about accomplishing them? And you know what? If you can’t get it, DON’T BEAT YOURSELF UP ABOUT IT. Release it into the universe and LET THAT SHIT GO! We are imperfect beautiful beings – it’s about progress, not perfection.
