On #transformationtuesday I want to share what’s possible when you find a way that works best for you.
What you do today sets the tone for tomorrow, next week, next month, next year…
Lasting change isn’t about willpower.
I’ve tried white-knuckling my way through fat loss before – perhaps you have as well. I spun my wheels for two decades, trying and failing to lose weight over and over.
If you asked me in 2019, if I thought I would be here, I would have bet against me. But I was ready. And despite my fear, I jumped in two feet first.
Here are my key takeaways that may help you:
1. I ditched telling myself to “just try harder.”
2. I stopped telling myself that I needed more self-control.
3. I knew deep down that the harder I dieted, the more likely I would not be able to keep it up. I was ready to ditch the extremes.
4. Because I had a crash dieting history, I knew that I needed to be patient with my body, allow it to do its thing and release rushing the process.
