2.6.23 week 2 check in for my coach

2.6.23 it’s check-in time for me with my Coach @janellefitmarks in the @thewonderwomenofficial team!

Last week was the last of my Birthday outings. 3 social meals in 1 week is a lot! I pre/planned all in My Macros Plus but we all know take out is always an iffy situation! I’m @24cycle if ya wanna follow me on the app!

I’m at the tail end of my cycle week. Energy last week was in the toilet; but I took it one rep at a time and got it done.

As we know, most days will feel like this, so it trains us to push through!

I had 2 non-scale victories this week:

#1) I hit 225lbs on deadlifts for sets of 8. My 1rm is 275lbs.

#2) I told a group of friends that I’m planning to compete. I told them that meant bringing my own food to stuff and having to be more selective about my outings. I was scared to say it but I realize that my goal is bigger than the fear I have about setting healthy boundaries with those that I love.

And I learned a long time ago, that you can love people from afar too. This is not bad or wrong. It’s what’s best for me. After all, you gotta protect your peace!

Over all, weight up a little; metrics the same and my positive attitude is off the charts.

In life, I’ve learned to make lemonade out of lemons. I can either cry and bitch or I can get shit done. I’m definitely a get shit done kinda gal 💪🏾😜❤️

Weight: 149.6lbs
Waist: 27”
Hips & Butt: 37”
Thigh: 20.5”

Remember, you didn’t gain weight from 1 meal off plan just like you will not lose weight from 1 meal on plan.

It’s the decisions you make that either push you forward or pull you back. Fail forward!!!
