How has 2022 been for you?
During this week of client coaching calls, ladies have told me that “resisting all of the Halloween candy” has been a big challenge . And I LOVE when I hear this because in our group coaching program called Macros Made Easy, our motto is “Moderation NOT Deprivation!”
When being around treats is HARD, we create many rules for ourselves in an effort to keep us “safe, on track and good.” Yet, when we have these rules, we never actually feel safe because we can never live up to our unrealistic set of restrictions. These “rules” create a lot of NOISE and JUDGEMENT about the things we WANT to eat but don’t feel like we CAN.
My transformation didn’t happen overnight, but as soon as I started choosing moderation over deprivation, my weight stabilized, and my cravings went from outta control to manageable.
And the huge plus is that special occasions and weekends stopped being a source of extra stress for me!
