I’m not gonna lie but the fact the scale FINALLY ticked down to 135 is freaking amazing!
It’s been about a week since reviewing my Dutch test with my Doc and starting a supplement regimen to support my liver since I live with a permanent ostomy.
At this point, I am operating like clockwork. My systems are automated. My fave meals are on repeat. My body feels good despite sleep being off. And my strength is holding or steadily increasing. My physical output is WAY higher this last week as my husband is out of commission due to recent knee surgery. I haven’t racked up 20k steps on purpose ever in my 2 years with @thewonderwomenofficial under my Coach @janellefitmarks.
Here are the highlights:
Cardio: 35 min daily easy kind
Steps: 10k period not in addition to cardio steps etc… that would drive me bat 🦇 shit 💩 crazy 😆
Lifts: 4 weekly & 1 metcon
Macros: my diet got cut last week but I choose to shed some fat to keep carbs. And TBH I’m eating a good amount of food! Low days are 120g carbs and Train days are 170g carbs.
I credit being in maintenance (and probably a build as I was more lax in maintenance) for a little over a year and having a good amount of muscle on my body) as the keys to being able to have higher food here. And being here right now, has made my EYES 👀 WIDE OPEN about the benefits of embracing and sticking with maintenance 100% despite picking up some extra weight.
Current Weight: 135lb
Waist: 25”
Hips: 36”
Thigh: 19”
My plan is to push to get to 130lbs first and I’m hoping we have time to get down further in the 125-128lb range. The last time I was 125, I just finished 7 months of Jenny Craig starving myself at 1k cals per day with zero lifting. I’m excited to peel away what I’ve been working on for decades now!
Thanks for reading!
