It’s #macrosdomatter and today I give ya a quick chocolate cupcake swap!
To save on time and mental energy, I used a Simple Mills chocolate cupcake mix as the base but do a few swaps to make it more macro friendly!
BUYER BEWARE as most of these dry mixes provide nutritional info only for the mix and NOT including the add-ins they call for. In this case, they call for 3 whole eggs and 1/3 cup of oil.
I swapped egg whites, apple sauce and added a scoop of chocolate whey protein powder!
When compared to Ms. Hostess, y’all get a bit more fiber and protein, less fat and sugar!
