I’ve dieted my whole life.
👉🏾I was NOT a skinny person who gained a bunch of weight in college.
👉🏾 I wasn’t an athlete in college and gained weight after getting married.
✅I’ve been trying to lose weight since I can remember wishing upon a star ⭐️ in 3rd grade. Kids treat you different when your the overweight one.
My dad had a laborious job so paying to exercise was ridiculous. My mom was naturally lean and despite her despise of her frame, I always longed for her shape. Making ends meat was their focus so kid sports… what is that? 😉
We always had YUMMY food in the fridge – real soda, Tang and Passion Orange juice, pop tarts, cereal, cookies, ice cream, candies. We had ALL the snacks. My dad’s #costco trips were sure to include Halloween worthy stockpile of candy. He had a wicked sweet tooth 🦷.
We were never denied and we had no food rules. I always felt bad for my friends who told me that they couldn’t have all the treats we had at our house.
I had to learn on my own how to navigate my weight. And it took a lot of years and a lot of body beat downs and a ton of fad diets to finally find a groove.
I know the struggle because I’ve been through the struggle just like many of you. And that is what sets me a part from a gazillion coaches out there, shredded, taunting “if you want it bad enough” mantras while never realizing the desperation of someone who struggles with losing 20, 30, 40 plus pounds.
Weight loss is so much more than losing a bunch of weight.
Keeping weight off is a so much more than moving and eating well.
This is truly an inside out transformation. And I’m here for it and I’m here for you!
