“Can I work out in a fasted state?”
“Is it always necessary to get protein right after a workout?”
“Do I need to eat before and after a strength training session?”
What do you do? What do I do?
MOST WOMEN think this: “If I starve myself for as long as I can and work out really hard until I am bat shit crazy, I’ll finally get that body I want.”
Sorry sis, it doesn’t work that way. WHEN you eat is just as important as WHAT you eat which is just as important as EVERYTHING ELSE you do and don’t do – manage stress or not, sleep good or not, meal prep or not, limit sweets, treats and alcohol or not…
So let’s tackle one thing right NOW – the WHEN of your eating!
Food timing is more important than most of us realize. You just have to know how to do it effectively to see muscle gains.
How many times I find out my ladies are lifting solid but then not eating after or before. Or they are lifting on point but wait until they get home, finish all of their family stuff and then sit down to a “post workout” meal. All THAT effort thrown right out the window because of not eating at the right time!
