We often view muscle soreness as a sign of a good workout, but I want you to know that is just not true!
Just because you don’t feel muscle soreness as intensely as when you first began working out doesn’t mean the exercise is no longer benefiting you. There are a variety of reasons why you don’t feel sore anymore.
Many studies show that soreness itself is a poor indicator of muscle adaptation and growth.
Let’s jump into the top 4 reasons you may no longer feel sore after working out…
-Your body and muscles are getting stronger
-You are fueling your body properly
-You are getting enough sleep
-You are stretching pre and post workout
I hope that helps bust another misconception around strength training. Remember, if you have any questions please DM me. I love hearing from you and always answer your messages personally. Send me a DM anytime!
