If we look at our life experiences, I’m certain we will see that anything we did or accomplished required a lot of effort. Perhaps a lot of self-doubt too. But we pushed on and did it. The fear of the unknown washed away and we found the next thing to tackle!
When I started #triathlon, 🏊♀️ 🚴 🏃🏽♀️ the sport kicked my ass. That “high” kept me going back. I stuck with it and several years later, I began to place in my age group. Had I given up early on when I was the last of everything, I would have never realized my potential.
When I left a #corporatecareer to pursue my passion in fitness 🏋🏽♀️ full time, I had more thoughts than not on why that was such a bad idea. Fortunately for me, I didn’t let that nagging voice run the show. I reassured myself that I needed to at the very least try. If it didn’t work out, I reminded myself that I could always work a 9-5 at another firm. This was in 2011. I’m here stronger than ever. And had I not taken that leap of faith, I know I would be behind a desk, disgruntled and miserable selling people 💩 they didn’t need.
When I wanted to expand my family, 🤰🏽against all odds, I used that same mindset 🧠 to muster the courage to do it.
I’ve been here before. I’ve tried and failed. Many times. Both expected and many unexpected. Always failing with lots of heartache and tears. But knowing at my very core, that I had to at least try No. Matter. What. #determination
I share this to remind YOU that it may take months or years but what is meant for you will always find it’s way to you (people, clients, relationships).
And I guarantee what is meant for you will always be worth the wait, the challenge, the patience, the pain, the despair… it’s worth it. Always.
