are you a “have to” or a “get to” person?

Philosopher José Ortega y Gasset on the power of attention says this:

“Tell me what you pay attention to and I will tell you who you are.”

I find myself like many others, running through ALL of the THINGS I HAVE to do, especially after recently moving.

I HAVE to change my address.

I HAVE to clean the fridge.

I HAVE to set up my home gym.

James Clear, #habits master told us this:

“We spend a lot of time talking about everything we have to do. Now, change one word in each sentence. You don’t “have” to. You “get” to.

The right perspective transforms your burdens into opportunities.”

WOW, right? Now let’s relate ALL OF THAT to our wellness.

You get to exercise today versus You HAVE to exercise today.

You get to eat healthy versus you HAVE to eat healthy.

You get to finish 10 things at work versus you HAVE to finish work.

You have to cook dinner for your family versus you HAVE to cook dinner.

This is the  #mindset shift. When we change how we see things and we reframe our thoughts, we become unstoppable.

Now, I ask you, what limiting beliefs have you been telling yourself that have stopped you from doing the things you aspire to do?
