doing the work is the short cut

If you’ve been wanting to lose weight and find yourself getting excited about the new fad diet, I’m here to let you off the hook. You don’t need that. In fact, I am totally against all of the crazy messages the diet industry shoves down our throats, trying to trigger our insecurities. 

We all know that’s what they’re doing but they craft such compelling messages, the next thing you know we’re buying a thigh master… or a bag of powder filled with ingredients we can’t even pronounce. 

As your Honolulu Personal Trainer, I’m not here to sell you any shiny new way. If you want to be healthy, to lose weight, to complete that event or be able to keep up with your kids, it’s pretty simple:

IT REQUIRES YOU TO DO THE THING BEFORE YOU REGRET NOT DOING THE THING!

You will have to eat well. 

You will have to move your body.

You will have to do both of the above EVERY DAY!

There’s no short cut approach. 

Doing the work IS THE SHORT CUT!

What gems would you find out about yourself if you got everything you wanted the easy way, without any work or effort on your part? 

You would never discover just how truly strong and determined you are. 

You would never learn the sometimes uncomfortable feelings that arise when you can’t just put YOU on the back burner. 

All that good stuff that makes you who you are – THAT comes from training for the journey – not from clicking your heels twice to end up at the finish line!
